Forma Phantom Flow Boots - Black
The Forma Phantom Flow boots have a Vented Microfibre upper construction for riding in warm weather. They are also equipped with the Vertebra Flex System (VFS) at the rear, a cutting-edge design that encourages controlled flexion. Featuring a double pivot mechanism, the VFS allows the boot to move in four directions—thanks to two pivot points at the ankle and two more at the back of the calf. This system is engineered to offer maximum protection while minimizing the risk of unnatural twisting during an accident.
The boots also feature an innovative double-density rubber sole that delivers enhanced abrasion resistance and improved grip on the bike. This sole is tailored to meet the demands of modern, aggressive riding styles—especially those that involve dragging the foot on the asphalt during braking and cornering.
For impact-prone areas, titanium is used in the sliders, heel protection, and lateral inserts—chosen for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. Each titanium component serves a specific function: the external toe slider reduces friction and wear, the lateral insert boosts side-impact protection, and the reinforced heel cap includes a shock-absorbing insert to disperse impact forces across the boot, reducing localized stress and potential injury.
Inside, an internal fastening system keeps the foot securely in place. The sock-like interior features dual-layer foam padding for enhanced comfort and stability. Additionally, targeted padding around the heel area improves grip and prevents slippage, ensuring a secure fit even under intense riding conditions.
