Helmet City provides FREE DELIVERY to almost all mainland UK addresses. We aim to dispatch in 1-5 working days, maybe more for out of stock items or items that are special order. Delivery to Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Scottish Highlands & Islands is FREE only if the order value is over £150.00. Low value items sent to Northern Ireland and other non UK mainland addresses may incur a nominal fee, we will contact you. Next day delivery is not guaranteed, but most items are delivered in 2-5 working days.

Despatch
Items are despatched via DPD. With the new DPD Predict service, your parcel can be tracked by you every step of the way, make sure to download the App. An email with the tracking number is sent when the item is marked for despatch.
Our Helmets are sent out in Brand New boxes, items clearly damaged in transit should not be accepted as once signed for, are accepted as delivered complete and undamaged. Helmet City cannot be held responsible for any damage discovered after the item has been signed for.
Please remember that it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the goods are packaged for transport. Insufficient packaging resulting in the product being damaged will be the responsibility of the customer. The box of the product must be wrapped / protected and not covered in tape or labels. A restocking fee may be charged for any original boxes damaged due to careless packing. However, if we send the wrong item or there is a fault upon delivery, we will pay for the return.
Delivery Times
Unless otherwise stated, we aim to dispatch stock items to the UK in 1-5 working days. Items shown on the website are not guaranteed in stock, however we do try and keep the website as accurate as possible. Delivery times may increase if items are out of stock or for items that are special order.
Care of your parcel
Your satisfaction is essential to Helmet city, which is why we use DPD and Royal Mail to send our products. ALL helmets are checked manually by us prior to despatch and are then placed into a brand new strong brown cardboard box. This protects the helmet and makes it easy for the customer to check for damage.

For your peace of mind and satisfaction all items are carefully checked prior to despatch. Helmet City must be notified of any errors, missing items or damage within 48hrs of delivery. This does not affect your consumer rights.
However, if you are unhappy with your purchase, Helmet City will be happy to accept the return of your helmet or other item within 30 days of purchase, providing:
• it is received back to us UNUSED and undamaged. A used Helmet CANNOT be returned for a refund, unless it is proved to have a manufacturing fault.
• complete with ALL tags in place, helmet bag, manual, protective plastic on visor and any other associated parts supplied.
• the Pinlock Insert is NOT fitted (unless factory fitted as standard)
• in the undamaged Manufacturers helmet box
• packaging must not be damaged and must be in a re-saleable condition
If any of these criteria are not met, there will be either a 20% re-stocking fee or we may refuse to refund the helmet or other item.
Before sending an item back, you MUST raise a Return (RMA) online as follows :-

- Log in to your account at helmetcity.co.uk.
- Click your name at the top of the page and click 'My Account'.
- Select ‘My Returns’ from the list on the left.
- Click 'Request New Return'.
- Select the Order you wish to return and click Next.
- Put a tick in the box of the item/s in this order that you wish to return and some new information will appear. Select the Reason, Condition and Resolution accordingly.
- Enter any additional information that you want to tell us.
- If required, add any images that you wish to accompany your return by clicking the ‘Browse’ button.
- Click ‘Submit Request’
- We will then check your Return request and reply with the address that we need you to send it to.
- A link will be supplied to enable you to use our new DPD Returns Service.
- This information will be available in your Account under the RMA section.
- Please fill out the table below in full, cut it off and put it inside the packing box.
- Your Return will be processed as quickly as possible, but generally within 48hrs of receipt.
- If an item is returned under warranty, return postage costs will ONLY be refunded if that item is PROVED to be faulty.
Visors & Pinlock Inserts
Please ensure that the Visor or Pinlock ordered is correct for your helmet. If the packet is opened and we cannot sell it as brand new, we will not accept it back.
The weight shown on our website is generally for a size Medium, +/-50g and provided by the manufacturer. Helmet City are not responsible if the weight of the actual helmet is different and will not be liable for any return postage costs.
We would suggest the item is sent via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery (if you think your product is damaged, please contact us BEFORE sending your item back). Simply pack your parcel up securely using its original protective packaging and send to the address given to your RMA. Please fill out and include this delivery note and pay postage costs at your Post Office.
If an item is returned under warranty, return postage costs will ONLY be refunded if that item is PROVED to be faulty.

The Free Gift product is the product or products illustrated, no alternative products are offered. Helmet City reserves the right to substitute any free item offered with an item of equal or greater value. If a customer wishes to return an order which qualified for a gift with purchase, the transaction can only be refunded if the gift with purchase item is also returned.

Please note the customer is responsible for all return delivery charges unless the goods are wrongly delivered or proved to be faulty. In which case, only REASONABLE postage will be refunded (we will NOT refund Royal Mail Special Delivery costs). For your own security and peace of mind we would recommend that you use a recorded delivery service. Helmet City do not accept responsibility for returned goods lost or damaged in transit.
On receiving your goods we will process the return as quickly as possible. Refunds will be made using your original payment method and are normally completed within 1-3 working days of receipt of the returned items or notification that a refund is required. Finance deposits are refunded by Klarna normally with 2-4 days. Please note that once a Refund is processed, the wonderful banks can take a number of working days to actually put the money in your account!

EU Returns / Warranty
Helmet City are NOT responsible for the returns postage from any Country outside mainland UK to get an item back under warranty. Helmet City will cover the postage back to the customer, only if the item is found to be faulty.
Any items being returned under Warranty from outside the UK, MUST be sent back clearly marked on the paperwork and outside of the box that the item is broken and is being sent back under warranty for repair. It must NOT have a value or there will be customs and other associated charges to pay. Helmet City WILL NOT pay these charges, if the customer refuses to pay them, the item will be sent back, at their cost.

The Helmet city guide to buying a Motorcycle Helmet
A poorly fitting helmet may not only be uncomfortable, more noisy and may move around when riding if too big or give headaches etc if it is too small, it is also dangerous. A helmet simply will not protect or perform as designed if the head inside it is not snuggly fitted against the impact absorbing material inside the shell.
Measuring
Once you've decided on the helmet (we have thousands available!), to make a better judgement on size we would recommend measuring your head. Using a soft measuring tape, measure around the circumference of your head, across the forehead just above the eyebrows, above the ears and around the back of your head. Helmets are available in sizes from 50cm right up to 67cm! If you are say 58.5cm and a Medium is 57-58cm and a Large is 59-60cm, we would generally suggest going for the smaller size as the interior will compress over time. This is not a guarantee of course and we would always suggest popping to one of our Retail shops (or your local dealer) to try one on (we have 7 shops at the moment).
Another thing to bear in mind, is that a helmet in say size Medium from one Manufacturer may fit completely differently to a Medium from another Manufacturer. Therefore we would always recommend travelling to a dealer to try a number of different brands to get the perfect fit for your head shape.
If you purchase a helmet online from HelmetCity.co.uk, it can be returned (at your cost) as long as our strict Returns Policy is followed. The helmet can only be tried on (not used on the road), no pinlock fitted, no protective film or tags removed and the bag and outer box in the condition we sent to you.
Trying your Helmet on
When your lovely new helmet arrives, pop it on (after reading the advice sheet enclosed in the box) and wiggle it around to make sure the top of your head fits and is settled right in. Give the helmet a push from the front towards the forehead to see if it gives you any pain or discomfort. Do the strap up and tighten it until you feel it is quite tight (but not uncomfortable - you need to breathe!) Look in a mirror - how does it fit on the cheeks? If you can fit a couple of fingers between your cheek and the helmet cheekpads then it is too big, if it is pressing so tight your cheeks are between your teeth and you can't talk, then it may be too small! Please note that cheek pads do compress over time so they sort of 'wear in'. On some of the higher end brands, like Shoei and Arai for example, thinner and thicker cheek pads and even skull pads can be supplied - depending on the model. If you know the size you require at the time of ordering, these can be swapped out free of charge (Shoei and Arai only) - we keep the unwanted size (this only applies to Full Price Helmets).
If you are generally happy with the fit, leave the helmet on for a good length of time to ensure it is not pressing in places that are not immediately apparant. If a helmet is really pressing on your forehead this can sometimes cause a headache over time so it may be worth trying another size or brand.
It is important to read our Returns Policy regarding helmets and the Advice Sheet enclosed with your purchase, before going for a ride as a helmet cannot then be returned if it does not fit or you are not happy with it.

Its full Carbon shell is handmade at SCHUBERTH PERFORMANCE by the same hands of our highly specialized technicians, who manufacture our Formula 1 helmets. Thanks to the manual lamination and the autoclave curing processes, the shell of C5 Carbon combines an extremely light weight with an unparalleled performance. The new SCHUBERTH C5 Carbon features the P/J double homologation and respects the severe ECE 22.06 standards.
THE GAME CHANGER
The full Carbon shell of the new C5 Carbon is produced with the same lamination and Autoclave curing processes of our Car Racing helmets, but even more important the shell is handmade by the same highly specialized technicians who produce the helmets of the current Formula 1 World Champion.
ONE MAN, ONE SHELL
The manufacturing process of the new C5 Carbon is based on the “one man, one shell” principle, which means that the technician who starts the lamination has to complete the entire shell production process.
THE ART OF "COOKING"
At the end of the lamination process the Carbon mold is closed and it goes at the vacuum station, where dedicated operators are carefully wrapping and vacuuming each mold to prepare it for the curing cycle into the autoclave.
The SCHUBERTH PERFORMANCE autoclaves generate a combination of pressure and temperature within a precise time frame scheme. A cycle lasting up to four hours, transforms the Carbon fiber layers and their resin into a monolithic piece, which is able to offer an outstanding mechanical strength and lightweight performance.

NEW VENTILATION SYSTEM
Ventilation makes the C5 Carbon a game changer in the Flip-up helmet category. An optimum head thermoregulation maximizes rider performance and comfort. For this reason, the C5 Carbon is designed to combine the ultimate ventilation with the dual chin air intake with exchangeable filter, combined with a new back spoiler featuring air exhaust and uncovered EPS ventilation channels.

INTERCOM SYSTEM
The most advanced technology just for your SCHUBERTH C5 Carbon. Extremely easy to install, to configure and use, SC2 sets a new standard for motorcycle communication. The HD speakers and three antennas for FM Radio, Bluetooth Intercom and Mesh Intercom are already pre-installed in the SCHUBERTH C5 Carbon.
The SC2 is extremely simple to install: Plug in the HD BOOM microphone, remove the covers at the back of the helmet, free the remote control housing on the side, plug both in, turn them on, and you are ready to ride!
MESH 2.0
Thanks to the new Mesh 2.0 technology, the SCHUBERTH SC2 delivers an unparalleled level of intercom connections redefining the concept of “communication network”. With Mesh 2.0 technology, now it is possible to connect with a virtually limitless number of participants. In addition our new system offer the latest HD speakers and Microphone by Sena , the advanced noise Control, the digital assistant and a range comparable to the most performing products available on the market.
VISOR MEMORY FUNCTION
It is always the little details that make the difference between a common helmet and a SCHUBERTH. Introduced for the first time on the E1 peak, the memory function feature is now also included on the C5 Carbon visor. With this function, whatever exact position is selected with the chin bar closed, will be maintained after opening, and closing the chin bar.
